Description: A Gomti Action March was organised on Sunday, 7-Dec-2014 which was led by none other than the Minister of Science and Technology Mr. Abhishek Mishra and Irrigation Minister Mr. Shivpal Singh Yadav. The motive of this March was to create the awareness amongst the Lucknowites about the cleanliness of river Gomti. Not only this but the March was organised to let the administration know that we the people of the city now want an action over the policies so made for the cleanliness of river Gomti. Several schools, Colleges and Non-Government Institutions took part in this drive. St. Joseph Group of Institutions was a major contributor in this drive with its almost 1500 students and about 50 teaching faculty. The March started from the GPO and ended at Jhulelal Park situated at the bank of River Gomti.
