Description: St. Joseph Inter College Thakurganj organized the most prestigious Debate Competition “The Frank Anthony Memorial All India- Inter School Debate Competition 2017 on 17th July 2017 in association with Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. Students from Lucknow and other cities participated enthusiastically in this competition. .
The debate began with the blessing of the Founder Chairperson of the St. Joseph Group of Institutions Smt. Pushplata Agarwal. The Managing Directors Mr. Rajesh Agarwal and Mrs. Seema Agarwal extended their best wishes to the participating schools. The Debate was preceded by chairperson Mr. Y.D Mathur and Judges were Ms. Madhu Mathur, Mr. Ajay Srivastava and Ms. Sabiha Ahmad.
Amongst all the debating teams, Sheiling House School, Kanpur was declared as the winning team. Kushagra Agarwal from Seth Anandaram Jaipuria School , Kanpur awarded the Best Speaker award.
